~WINTER~

COME BUILD A SNOWMAN 

This camp will focus on body awareness skills, body strengthening, sensory processing, motor planning, directional concepts, developing language and following directions while moving our bodies through the snow!  The functional skill focus is dressing!  We will start our time in the sheltered space.  Practice dressing skills before heading outside to dress a snowman!  Tromping through the snow offers wonderful proprioceptive input.  These concepts will be supported through the building of a snowman!  Brain and development at its best!  Come play and learn.   Therapists will be their to guide, inspire, inquire, and facilitate learning!  This will be intense therapeutic play!  

ALL children are welcome.

~SPRING~

Come Love the Earth & One Another

This camp will foster kindness toward the earth and one another.  Children will engage in music and movement along with exploration and engagement with nature to facilitate the following skills:  fine and gross motor skills, language development, visual motor/perceptual skills, peer/social skills, and care for others and the earth.  Functional skills focused on will be social skills including sharing and cooperative play.    Typically there will be a story time to introduce the concept and to encourage thoughtful reflection and discussion.   Campers will be encouraged to take notice of of all of the colors of the earth along with differences amongst us that make us special and unique.   

Camp facilitated by Speech & Occupational Therapists.  Open to ALL children. 

Minimum number of participants:  5.  Max participants:  8

~FALL~  

Come Celebrate the Harvest!

A wonderful opportunity for ALL children. This camp will be inside and outside with a nature based flare!  The therapists are experts in their fields and are passionate about supporting young children!  

Who is the group created for?

  • Ages 3-7 years (children of all abilities welcome)
  • Potty training is preferred but not mandatory.  If you are unsure if your child is a good fit, please email Lisa at rainbowtreeinfo@gmail.com
  • Children should feel comfortable being in a group setting with some level of independent function as we cannot provide one to one assistance. 
  • Children should enjoy being outdoors in nature! 

Space is limited to 10 campers with a minimum of 5.
