Brain Boost Nature Play (3.5-8 years)

All children ages 3.5-8 years (please note through age 8 is correct)

SUMMER CAMP

This sweet and magical camp is thoughtfully designed for all children ages 3.5–8 and centers on learning through the senses with a play-based, nature-immersive approach. Nature naturally invites curiosity, movement, and exploration—providing rich sensory experiences that support healthy brain and developmental growth.

Camp experiences are supported by highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapistswho deeply value play as an essential foundation for learning and skill development. All activities are selected with intention to nurture foundational skills while honoring each child’s unique developmental journey.

This camp is especially supportive for children in the formative years of development, offering a warm, inclusive environment where children can grow at their own pace through hands-on, experiential learning.

Participation requirements:

  • Children must be able to walk independently and navigate their environment without physical assistance.
  • Potty trained is preferred.
  • Class size is intentionally small, with a 3:1 child-to-adult ratio, to ensure individualized support and meaningful connection.
  • We cannot offer one to one support.  If you have personal care attendant support, that person is welcome to join your child.
  • We are not equipped to manage children in a group who has significant aggression. If your child has difficulty being in group settings and persistently is aggressive toward others, this may not be a good fit.

Our Philosophy

We believe hands-on, experiential learning through play is the most meaningful way for young children to build skills. Our therapists are highly skilled in creating a joyful, supportive environment that gently facilitates development while honoring each child’s strengths, interests, and individuality.

Open to all children.

Our camp is grounded in a neuroaffirming philosophy. We recognize that children learn, communicate, move, and regulate in different ways. Rather than asking children to fit a mold, we thoughtfully design our environment and activities to support diverse sensory, motor, and communication needs while celebrating each child’s strengths.
