Seek (by iNaturalist):
- Uses the camera on your mobile phone to identify living things
- Animals, plants, fungi, and other organisms
- The app will store your observations of species
- You can earn badges for observing different types of species and participating in challenges
Merlin Bird ID (by Cornell Lab):
- Identify birds you hear with a “Sound ID” recording right from your phone
- You can also identify birds by answering simple questions, uploading photos, or exploring a database of birds in your region
- Includes the world’s largest database of bird sightings, sounds, and photos
Geocaching®:
- Search for hidden containers (geocaches) with instructions, tips, and hints
- Details, descriptions, and recent activity for each geocache
- Navigate with driving directions
- You can log your geocaches and add photos of your find

- Companion to outdoor hiking, biking, running, walking
- Includes reviews of trailers
- You can customize your route to search for wheelchair-accessible and dog-friendly trails and more
- Gather in-depth information on trails and save them for later
